SHOWFIELDS ART EXPERIENCE
THE VOICES OF
WORKING AS A COLLECTIVE WITH OUR TEAM OF CURATORS, ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS.
AHEAD OF THE CURVE CONCEPTUALLY, ARTISTICALLY AND AESTHETICALLY.
NO ART WORLD PRECONCEPTIONS.
The line between online and offline experiences has become increasingly blurred. As daily life increases its demand in technology, we’ve come to expect physical experiences that transcend our online interactions. Future success in the experience economy relies on brick and mortar’s ability to create multi-sensory connections with the seamless comfort of digital life. This generation does not settle for being mere observers of experience. By interacting with art beyond the visual sense, we become active participants in culture and community. We believe that the future is about connection and interaction. SHOWFIELDS is pioneering a new creative movement that is interdisciplinary and requires everyone’s participation. Mixing commerce with art, science and technology, we create unexpected connections between different industries that coexist together.
All art installations should foster interaction, including the audience’s reciprocity or influence the piece. The audience is required to participate in the art experience, beyond the merely visual.
All performances should include the audience’s reciprocity or influence in the creation process or lifespan of the piece. Audiences are challenged to participate in the performance, beyond simply observing. Performers need to use the interactive art installations on display as well as interact with the public themselves. Performers need to have the ability to collaborate with visual artists, adapt their work to untraditional spaces, and interact with a non-captive and diverse audience.
